Memor ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Serser Software. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Memor mobile application ("App"). Please read it carefully.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated through your use of the App.

• Contacts: With your permission, Memor accesses your device contacts solely to help you add friends to the App. We do not upload your contacts to our servers.
• Microphone & Voice Data: Memor uses your microphone to record voice memos. Audio is processed locally for transcription using Apple's on-device speech recognition. We do not store raw audio on our servers.
• Location: With your permission, Memor may log your location when you record a hangout or meeting. Location data is stored locally on your device and, if you have sync enabled, in your private account.
• Photos & Camera: Memor may access your camera or photo library to attach photos to friend profiles. Images are stored locally or in your private account; they are never shared publicly.
• Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymized usage analytics (e.g., feature interactions, crash reports) to improve the App. This data cannot be used to identify you.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
• To personalize your experience and surface relevant reminders.
• To send you service-related notifications (e.g., reminders you have set).
• To respond to your support requests.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or illegal activity.

3. How We Store Your Data

Friend information, notes, and logs are stored primarily on your device. If you choose to create an account, data is synced to secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase) and is protected with encryption in transit and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Memor uses the following third-party services, each subject to their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — secure cloud database for account sync.
• Apple Speech Recognition — on-device transcription of voice memos.
• Expo / EAS — app infrastructure and over-the-air updates.

5. Push Notifications

Memor may send push notifications for reminders and events you have configured. You can opt out of notifications at any time through your device's notification settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@memor.app.

7. Children's Privacy

Memor is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@memor.app.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
